# Terms of Service

## 1. Introduction and operator

Welcome to Sign Mockup (the “Service”). The Service is operated independently by Jin Bojin, an individual sole proprietor operating under the laws of the People’s Republic of China (“we”, “us”, or “our”), and not by a company or other organization.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and us governing your use of the Service, including the website [aisignmockup.com](https://aisignmockup.com/) and the Sign Mockup app. By signing up, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, such as a sign shop, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Paid subscriptions, top-ups and vector pack purchases are sold to you by Waffo Pancake as the Merchant of Record. See “Payment and auto-renewal authorization” for details.

## 2. The Service

The Service is an online software service (SaaS) for sign-shop designers. You upload a photo of your client’s building or site and, optionally, their logo; the Service’s AI design assistant reads the brand and the site, designs several sign concepts that can be built (such as channel letters, illuminated signs and panels), and places them realistically on the photo as mockups, in daytime and dusk lighting. You can refine a design in the editor, send your client a link to review and approve the designs without signing in, and export a vector pack for a design: elevation drawings (SVG, DXF and PDF) and a spec sheet.

The Service is a digital service. Access to your plan is granted immediately after payment is confirmed, and no physical goods are delivered. We do not fabricate, install or obtain permits for signs, and we are not a party to your agreements with your clients.

The Service uses third-party AI models to read photos, design signs, make images and write text. We currently access text and image models from several developers through OpenRouter. We select the model for each step automatically and may change it at any time. The quality and availability of the Service depend in part on these model providers.

We continuously improve the Service and may add, change, or discontinue features. We will give advance notice of changes that materially affect the core use of the Service by paying customers.

## 3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may register using an email address and password or a Google account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date, especially your email address, which we use for account verification, password recovery, and notices about billing and changes to these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised or you notice a security issue, send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com) immediately.

## 4. Plans, credits, and the free tier

The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter and Pro), billed monthly or annually. The price of each plan, and its credits and features, are as published on the [pricing page](https://aisignmockup.com/pricing).

**Credits.** Each design run (one round of sign concepts for a project) uses 2 credits, and each change you ask for in the editor uses 1 credit. Uploading photos, client approval links and vector packs do not use credits. Credits are reserved when a design run or change starts; if it does not complete, the credits are returned automatically.

**Resets.** Monthly credits on paid plans are granted per billing period, starting on each billing date (annual plans receive them monthly). Unused monthly credits are not carried forward to the next period.

**Top-ups.** Paid plans can buy top-up credits as one-time purchases; a top-up is not a subscription and does not renew. Top-up credits do not expire while your account exists, are used after your plan’s monthly credits, and remain usable if your account later moves to the Free plan.

**Starting a paid plan.** When you subscribe to a paid plan, any Free plan credits you have left are replaced by the paid plan’s monthly credits.

**Free plan.** The Free plan includes 3 credits in total, granted once; they do not reset or expire. You can use the full workflow, including the editor and client approval links, but mockups on the Free plan carry a watermark, top-ups are not available, and vector packs are bought one design at a time. If you do not have an active paid subscription, your account uses the Free plan.

**Single vector packs.** On a plan that does not include vector packs, you can buy the vector pack for one design as a one-time purchase at the price shown in the Service. The purchase unlocks the vector pack for every version of that design; it is not a subscription and does not renew.

## 5. Payment and auto-renewal authorization

**Merchant of Record.** Paid subscriptions, top-ups and vector pack purchases are sold to you by Waffo Pancake as the Merchant of Record. Waffo Pancake is the legal seller in the transaction and is responsible for collecting payment, calculating and remitting applicable taxes, issuing invoices, processing refunds, and handling chargebacks. Invoices will show Waffo Pancake as the seller. When you place an order, you also agree to the purchase terms Waffo Pancake presents at checkout. We provide the Service itself and are responsible for product questions and technical support.

**Prices and taxes.** The price you pay is the one shown on the pricing page and the checkout page at the time of purchase. Whether taxes are included, and the amount of tax, are as shown at checkout.

**Auto-renewal authorization.** Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically. By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorize Waffo Pancake, on our behalf, to charge that payment method the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period. This authorization remains in effect until you cancel as described in “Cancellation”.

**Upgrades and downgrades.** An upgrade (moving to a higher plan whose price is higher than what you currently pay, or from monthly to annual billing on the same plan) takes effect immediately and starts a new billing period on the day you upgrade. You receive the new plan’s full monthly credits right away, and any unused monthly credits from your previous plan end. You are charged the new plan’s price minus a credit for the unused days of your previous plan, calculated by day; the exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay. Any other plan change (moving to a lower plan, to a higher plan whose price is lower than what you currently pay, or from annual to monthly billing on the same plan) takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no charge is made when you request it. Your projects, designs and files are kept after a downgrade. Plan changes are not available while a cancellation is pending or a payment has failed; resume your plan or update your card first.

**Failed payments.** If a renewal payment fails, Waffo Pancake may retry the charge over the following days. If the payment still does not succeed, your subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan.

**Price changes.** If we change the price of a paid plan, we will notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. The new price applies from the first billing period that starts after the notice period. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

## 6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time using either of the following methods:

- **Online (recommended):** sign in and go to [Billing & credits](https://aisignmockup.com/workspace/billing) → Cancel plan.
- **By email:** send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com) from your registered email address. We will cancel your subscription and confirm by reply within 2 business days.

Cancellation takes effect immediately, and no further renewal charges will be made. You can continue to use your paid plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan. Until then, you can resume your plan from [Billing & credits](https://aisignmockup.com/workspace/billing). Your projects, designs, files and any remaining top-up credits stay in your account.

## 7. Refunds

Subscription fees, top-ups and vector pack purchases are non-refundable, except in the following cases:

- **7-day guarantee for first subscriptions:** if you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first charge, provided that the credits you used in that billing period are no more than 20% of your plan’s monthly credits.
- **Duplicate charges:** if you are charged more than once for the same billing period or purchase, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full.
- **Service outages:** if the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours for reasons within our control, you can request a refund of the current period’s fee in proportion to the length of the outage, within the refund period allowed by our payment provider.
- **Statutory rights:** this section does not limit any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live, such as the cooling-off rights of consumers in the EU and the UK.

To request a refund, send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com) with your registered email address, the charge date, and the reason for your request. We will confirm within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Waffo Pancake to your original payment method and are usually received within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer.

When a payment is refunded, the credits it paid for are removed in proportion to the amount refunded, up to the credits of that purchase or billing period you have not yet used. A full refund of your first subscription payment ends that subscription, and your account moves to the Free plan. A full refund of a vector pack purchase removes the access it unlocked.

Refunds are not available for: billing periods that have already started and are not covered above, including mid-period cancellations and downgrades; renewal charges, as the 7-day guarantee applies only to first subscriptions; or accounts suspended or terminated for violating these Terms.

## 8. Billing disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error, please first send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com), including your registered email address, the charge date, the amount, and a description of the issue, before filing a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We will respond within 2 business days and work with Waffo Pancake to resolve the issue.

If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend the paid features of the related account while the dispute is being resolved.

## 9. Your content and the designs we make

**Your content.** Content you submit to the Service — site photos, logos, brand names and other project details, the changes you ask for, and comments — belongs to you, your clients, or its original rights holders. To provide the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, copy, process, and display that content as necessary to provide and maintain the Service, including sharing it with the providers listed in “Service providers” and showing it to the people you send a client approval link to.

**Generated content.** Sign concepts, specifications, mockups, revisions and vector packs that the Service makes from your input (“Generated Content”) belong to you, and you may use them for commercial purposes, including presenting them to your clients and using them as the basis for producing signs, subject to these Terms and the rights of others.

**No guarantee of copyright or exclusivity.** The copyright status of AI-generated images is uncertain and differs between countries, and purely AI-generated content may not be protected. We do not guarantee that Generated Content is eligible for copyright protection or that it is unique; other users may receive similar content.

**No training.** We do not use your content or Generated Content to train AI models without your express consent, and we do not sell your content. AI model providers process requests under their own terms.

**Mockups and accuracy.** Generated Content is made automatically by AI and may contain errors, for example in spelling, colours, scale or proportions. A mockup shows how a sign might look on the site; it is not a measured drawing or a photo of a finished sign. Please check every image, spelling and specification before you send it to a client or use it for production. You are solely responsible for what you present to your clients and what you produce.

## 10. Your uploads and your clients

**Rights to what you upload.** When you upload a site photo or a logo, or enter a brand name, you confirm that you have the right to use it for your client’s project — for example, because your client provided it or you took the photo — and that your client has authorized you to use their brand to design signs for them.

**People and property in photos.** Site photos may incidentally show people, vehicles or neighbouring property. Upload only photos you are entitled to use, and avoid photos in which people are the subject. We use a site photo only to design and render signs for that site.

**Your clients.** You are responsible for your relationship with your clients, including quotes, contracts, fabrication, installation, permits and payment, and for the information about them that you put into the Service. Client approval links are a tool for collecting your client’s comments and sign-off; see “Client approval links”.

Do not upload logos, trademarks or photos you have no right to use, or photos of people without their permission.

## 11. Client approval links

You can send your client a link to review the designs of a project without signing in. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with the people you intend to. The link shows the designs as they were when you created it, together with your display name and email address as the contact. A link is valid for 7 days unless your client approves a design; creating a new link replaces the previous one.

When your client approves a design, they enter their name (and, optionally, their role and email address) and sign by drawing or typing. We record the approved design and version, the signer’s details and signature, the time, and the IP address and browser information (user agent) used, and the link becomes a permanent read-only receipt with a confirmation number. The receipt records what your client approved through the Service; whether it forms a binding agreement between you and your client depends on your agreement with them and the applicable law.

You are responsible for your client’s information in this flow: you decide whom to send the link to, and you must tell your client how their information is used where the law requires it. We process it on your behalf, as described in our [Privacy Policy](https://aisignmockup.com/privacy).

## 12. Design files, fabrication and permits

Vector packs — elevation drawings and spec sheets — are design files, not factory or shop drawings. Fonts, sizes, colours, PMS and vinyl suggestions, the sign area and stroke checks are derived automatically from the design and may be inaccurate. Before a sign is produced or installed, you or your fabricator must verify the dimensions, materials, structure and mounting, electrical work and lighting, and compliance with building codes, sign regulations, landlord rules and permit requirements.

Mockups are not a substitute for a site survey. You are responsible for signs made, installed or submitted for approval on the basis of Generated Content.

## 13. Trademarks and brand rights

You are responsible for making sure that the brand names, logos and other marks on the signs you design and produce are used with the permission of their owners, and that the signs do not infringe trademarks, copyrights or other rights.

Vector packs use the closest match from our library of openly licensed fonts, which may differ from your client’s brand fonts. We do not check trademarks and do not guarantee that a design is free of third-party rights.

## 14. Acceptable use policy

You must use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You must not use the Service to engage in, or assist others in engaging in, any of the following activities:

- **Infringing the rights of others:** uploading logos, trademarks or photos you have no right to use, designing signs for a brand without its owner’s authorization, or using the likeness of real people without their permission.
- **Hateful or harmful content:** content that promotes terrorism, violence, or hatred, harasses, defames, or threatens others, or sexualizes or endangers minors; sexually explicit content.
- **Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII):** making, editing, or sharing intimate, nude, or sexualized images of a real person without their consent. This includes sexualized synthesis of a real person — face swaps, “undressing”, or intimate scenes — which is prohibited even if the person agrees.
- **Deceptive content:** designs or mockups that impersonate another brand, organization, or person; presenting mockups as photos of signs that exist where people would be misled; or falsifying a client’s approval.
- **Spam:** using the Service, including client approval links, to send unsolicited messages or mass-produced content.
- **Misuse of the Service:** create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits; resell, rent, or share accounts or access without our prior written consent; circumvent credits, watermarks, security measures, or access controls; access the Service with automated tools at scale without permission; use outputs to train, fine-tune, or distill AI models that compete with the Service; or otherwise interfere with its operation.
- **Third-party rules and sanctions:** violate the rules and usage policies of the card networks or AI model providers involved in the Service; or use the Service in a country or region subject to applicable sanctions or export controls, or on behalf of a sanctioned person or entity.

**Enforcement.** If we discover or receive a report of a suspected violation, we may, as appropriate, remove or block the content, restrict features, suspend or terminate the account, and report the matter to authorities where required by law. We are not obligated to review all content proactively.

**Reporting.** If you find content made with the Service that infringes your rights — including your logo, your brand, or a photo of you or your property used without permission — send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com) with the details and proof of your rights. We will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

## 15. Service providers

We rely on the following providers to operate the Service. Each processes data within the scope of its role, and processing may take place outside the country or region where you live:

- **Waffo Pancake:** Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions, top-ups and vector pack purchases, responsible for payment collection, taxes, invoicing, refunds, and chargebacks.
- **OpenRouter:** access to AI models. Your site photo, logo and project details are sent to text and image models to plan the designs, remove old signs from the photo, make and check the mockups, and apply the changes you ask for; a design’s specification and final mockup are sent to a text model to prepare its vector pack.
- **Cloudflare:** website hosting and content delivery, file storage (your site photos and logos, the mockups we make, and vector pack files), and DNS.
- **Railway:** operates the Service’s backend.
- **Supabase:** database storing accounts, projects, designs, client approval records, and usage records.
- **Resend:** sends account verification, password reset, and other emails.
- **Google:** Google sign-in (only if you choose it) and website analytics (Google Analytics 4), subject to your cookie choices.

We will update this list when our providers change. Outages, changes, or terms of third-party services are outside our control.

## 16. Privacy and security

We collect and use only the personal information needed to provide the Service and share it with providers only as described in “Service providers”. We do not sell your personal information. For full details, see our [Privacy Policy](https://aisignmockup.com/privacy).

Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, and never passes through or is stored on our servers.

Your sign-in session is stored in cookies that page scripts cannot read, and your uploaded photos, mockups and vector packs are stored privately. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. ## 17. Our intellectual property

Except for your content and Generated Content, the Service, including its software, interface, design, and the Sign Mockup name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

We may freely use any suggestions or feedback you provide to us without any obligation to compensate you.

## 18. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, cancel any paid subscription first, then send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com) from your registered email address. After verifying your identity, we will complete the deletion within 30 days, except for data we are required by law to retain. Deleted data cannot be recovered, and client approval links for your projects stop working.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms (including the acceptable use policy), fail to pay fees when due, expose us or others to legal risk, or if required by law. Where possible, we will notify you in advance.

If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund, on a prorated basis, any prepaid subscription fees for unused time.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those on refunds, billing disputes, your content and Generated Content, disclaimers and limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law and disputes.

## 19. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that Generated Content will be accurate, original, lawful, or fit for a particular purpose, that a sign can be fabricated or installed as shown, that a design will be approved by your client, a landlord or a permitting authority, or that the Service will produce any business results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, business interruption, or the cost of fabricating, installing, correcting or removing signs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for losses caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

## 20. Indemnification

You will indemnify us against losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from any third-party claim relating to your content, the signs you design, produce or install, your dealings with your clients, or your violation of these Terms or the law, except to the extent caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

## 21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, including their formation, validity, interpretation, and the resolution of disputes, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, which for the purposes of these Terms exclude the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, and Taiwan.

If a dispute arises, please first send an email to [support@aisignmockup.com](mailto:support@aisignmockup.com) describing the issue, and we will try to resolve it with you informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after either party raises it, either party may bring a lawsuit before a competent people’s court at the place where the operator is domiciled.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the laws where you live.

## 22. General terms

**Changes to these Terms.** We may update these Terms and will update the date and version number at the top of this page accordingly. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before they take effect.

**Assignment.** You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer these Terms together with the Service and will notify you if we do.

**Entire agreement and severability.** These Terms, together with the purchase terms Waffo Pancake presents at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.

**Language.** These Terms are provided in English and Chinese. If the two versions conflict, the English version prevails.
